Business license renewal season is underway

The City of Myrtle Beach mailed 10,595 business license renewal forms on March 15, kicking off the 2019-20 license renewal season.

Any business license renewal form that is not received or postmarked by June 30, 2019, becomes delinquent. Any license renewal received or postmarked July 1, 2019, or later will be assessed a penalty of 5% of the license fee for each month or fraction of a month until the license fee and penalty are paid in full. (As of June 1, 2015, all own...ers of residential rental property are required to have a business license.)
