Photos of the Week

The sound of children’s laughter and holiday music filled the cool night air at the free-to-attend “Christmas on Carver Street.”  Area businesses and the Neighborhood Services Department hosted the event in Myrtle Beach.  Sirens sounded Santa’s arrival on a red truck, courtesy of the Myrtle Beach Fire Department.  Kids lined up to whisper their Christmas wishes to Santa, and each child received a special gift.  The Grinch was on his best behavior, too, with parents and city staff in attendance.  The evening also featured festive decorations, snacks and an ugly sweater contest.
