Photos of the Week

Cute kids in costume filled the field at Myrtle Beach’s Fall Fling on the weekend before Halloween.  The second annual event at General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center drew youngsters of all ages, along with moms, dads and grandparents, for a free evening of fun.  Treats included a “pumpkin hunt” for toy-filled containers, hot chocolate, do-it-yourself s’more kits (with real flames for toasting marshmallows), hotdogs, snacks, games, face painting and even a movie.  The Fall Fling was presented by the city’s Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism staff.  Grown-ups got into the act, too, dressing in costume for the occasion!
