MISSION

Neighborhood Services provides support, direction and encouragement for the city’s residential communities to help  maintain character and identities.  This role an evolving one, based on the needs of the neighborhoods and residents.
Understanding the needs vary from neighborhood to neighborhood, the department relies on residents and Neighborhood Watch groups to assist in identifying strengths, weaknesses, issues and needs.  Neighborhood Services serves as residents’ representatives and liaisons of the City of Myrtle Beach.
