New paint job underway for Myrtle Beach's "Air Force"

Stalvey Construction is putting some extra “shine” on all three planes at Warbird Park. The F-100 Super Sabre, A-7D Corsair and the A-10 Warthog are getting new paint jobs.

The planes at Warbird Park are on permanent loan to the city from the US Air Force and must be maintained to Air Force appearance standards. The $85,000 paint jobs is funded by the Capital Improvement Plan. The park will be closed for a few more weeks until the work is completed.
