SC DOT to present US 501 realignment plans in Myrtle Beach...

The South Carolina Department of Transportation has scheduled a public meeting for 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot. The DOT will present realignment plans for US 501 in downtown Myrtle Beach. This RIDE III-funded project will straighten US 501 and align it with Seventh Avenue North, rather than Main Street. US 501 would then connect with Kings Highway at Seventh Avenue North.

Project information, including meeting materials and comment forms, is available on the project website at http://arcg.is/1WKDy9 and on the SCDOT’s website, www.scdot.org/projects/public-involvement-portal.aspx.
