Myrtle Beach temporarily waives building permit fees for storm-related repairs

Amazingly, Myrtle Beach survived Hurricane Florence with virtually no damage. Estimates so far are less than $100,000 worth of physical damage to homes and businesses inside the city. This awning is about the worst that you'll see. To help with repairs, the City of Myrtle Beach is temporarily waiving all building permit fees related to storm damage. Contact Construction Services at 843-918-1...111 or visit the office at 921 North Oak Street. You still need a permit to repair storm damage, but no fees will be charged.
