Myrtle Beach honors veterans with annual Veterans Day Ceremony

NOVEMBER 21, 2022

Hundreds of people gathered at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center for the annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 11.  Myrtle Beach hosted its annual Veterans Day Ceremony inside the Convention Center this year because of expected rainy weather.  The crowd listened as Sergeant Major Jason T. Herring (ret.) spoke of his time in the Army and what Veterans Day means to him.  Jaesen Moore wowed the audience with his rendition of the National Anthem, and third grader Keegan Ruggieri recited the Pledge of Allegiance.  The Military Appreciation Committee thanks Chris Aranda, Cameron Viebrock, Festive Brass, the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Green Sea Floyds High School Junior ROTC, Rolling Thunder SC Chapter 3 and the Myrtle Beach Convention Center for their participation in making the Veterans Day Ceremony a success.  Thank you for your service, veterans!
