Documentary featuring Myrtle Beach open to public this Sunday
He was Emmy-nominated four times for his documentary about our neighbors to the north. Now, Mike Lassiter is showing his South Carolina documentary, "Our Vanishing Americana: A South Carolina Portrait," at The Market Common's Grand 14 Theatre at 5:00 p.m., this Sunday, July 17. The free screening of the one-hour documentary will take you on a journey through South Carolina, featuring Myrtle Beach through Peach's Corner, Ocean Drive Barber Shop, the Pavilion and Jack Thompson's studio.
The film follows Mike Lassiter on his journey across South Carolina and captures the stories of historic, often family-run businesses that
