"Boil water notice" has been issued for portions of Seaboard Street in Myrtle Beach

APRIL 25, 2022
A precautionary “boil water notice” has been issued for portions of Seaboard Street, just south of Mr. Joe White Avenue, due to a water main leak this morning. The 12-inch water line has been repaired. As a precaution, properties in the affected area (outlined in red on the attached graphic) are advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled before use. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may be used as an alternative. When tests confirm that the water is safe to drink after the repair, the “boil water” advisory will be lifted. This usually occurs within 48 hours. The addresses are 900-914 Seaboard Street and 1915 Mr. Joe White Avenue.
