The City of Myrtle Beach is looking for cheerful people to serve as Cheer Volunteers for the inaugural “Winter Wonderland at The Beach” event, set for November 26-January 2! The event takes place at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place, 812 North Ocean Boulevard, and overlooks the boardwalk and beachfront. It'll be open to the public seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day, December 25. Hours are 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 12:00 to 10:00 p.m. on weekends. Alongside city staff, Cheer Volunteers will be on hand to greet event attendees, disperse HARIBO candy to children, assist with tickets and spread the holiday joy.
