The City of Myrtle Beach is in Phases 2 and 3 of the Watershed Survey, asking for public input

The City of Myrtle Beach is in Phases 2 and 3 of the Watershed Survey, with three public meetings next week: Two on Monday and one on Tuesday, October 18 and 19, respectively. The Public Works Department wants to hear about any drainage concerns and/or water quality concerns. The masterplan dives into things like hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water quality modeling, capital projects and other areas of improvement. This project is being tailored to our community and we expect to see improvements both in water quality as well as water quantity. The meetings are 3:00 p.m., Monday, at Fire Station 5; 6:00 p.m., Monday, at Fire Station 6; and 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Mary C. Canty Recreation Center.
