9/11 Memorial Relocated to Warbird Park
The 9-11 Memorial has been relocated from 29th Avenue North to a new home at Warbird Park off Farrow Parkway. The memorial features a steel beam from one of the World Trade Center towers, donated to the Myrtle Beach community by retired New York City firefighters. The memorial is in place in time for the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.
Join Myrtle Beach and the greater community for a special September 11th Remembrance Ceremony at the new location of the Unity Memorial, set for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, at Warbird Park, 150 Farrow Parkway.
