Myrtle Beach's "umbrellas only" rule goes into effect on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31

Myrtle Beach’s “umbrellas only” rule goes into effect on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31. Tents and canopies are not allowed on the beach again until the day after Labor Day, with the exception of infant shelters that are smaller than four feet wide, three feet deep and three feet tall (note the new dimensions). Umbrellas up to seven-and-a-half feet in diameter are allowed in line with, or behind, the established umbrella line. For more information, see the Tents & Umbrellas webpage, https://cms6.revize.com/.../learn.../tents_and_umbrellas.php.
