Parking meter season begins March 1

If you park in downtown Myrtle Beach, make sure to have some spare change available. Monday, March 1, is the beginning of parking meter season. Lanier Parking will re-activate the meters so you can make your deposits. While no one likes parking meters, they do good things. They identify which spaces are public, they encourage turnover so that more people can park, and they help pay for projects in the downtown area, such as the streetscape improvements and additional parking areas. Parking meter season runs through October 31.
