Myrtle Beach City Council to consider mask mandate

A requirement to wear face masks? The Myrtle Beach City Council will consider requiring that face masks be worn in certain retail and foodservice situations during Thursday's special meeting in Council Chamber at the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center. A draft of the proposed order is available online, but it is subject to change. See https://cms6.revize.com/…/COMB%20(DRAFT)%20(2nd%20Amendment… to review the proposal. Council has not yet discussed this draft, which also includes certain exceptions. Violations of the proposed order would result in a civil infraction with a penalty of not more than $100.
