Thirty people graduated from the Myrtle Beach Citizens Police Academy in ceremonies at the Law Enforcement Center Annex near The Market Common. The 10-week class offers ride-alongs with police officers and a behind-the-scenes look at the Myrtle Beach Police Department and its many operations. Police Chief Amy Prock presented each graduate with a certificate. The class is offered twice a year, once in the fall and once in the winter.
