More than 5,000 people were on hand New Year’s Eve to celebrate the arrival of 2023 at Myrtle Beach’s Market Common. Howard and Reed Streets were packed as the crowd counted down the final seconds of 2022 and welcomed the New Year with the traditional ball drop. A laser show replaced fireworks for the celebration, which also included live music.
