The Myrtle Beach Fire Department’s annual Open House and Fire Expo drew a crowd on Saturday, October 13, at Fire Station No. 3 on South Kings Highway. Youngsters especially enjoyed climbing on fire trucks, trying on fire gear and building a fire boat in the craft corner. Parents and families saw demonstrations of fire equipment and met staff members from the Fire Department, Police Department and even the U.S. Coast Guard.
