Mashburn Construction is leading the way to Myrtle Beach’s new Arts & Innovation District. Last year, the company purchased 807 North Kings Highway with plans to restore the small building to its original feel while converting it into a modern office space. The renovation keeps the historic character, including the broken tile floors, while bringing it up to date with an airy conference room and contemporary work spaces. Next door to Mashburn, work is underway on a brewery, with residential spaces on the second floor. These are the first dominos in what will become Myrtle Beach’s new downtown area.
