About two dozen Myrtle Beach youngsters enjoyed a week of “Beach Camp” earlier this summer. With supervision and direction from Recreation Division staff, the kids spent the week doing beach-y things, such as playing sports, building sandcastles, hunting for sharks’ teeth and learning to surf. This is just one of many activities available for children in our Summer Youth Programs. As you can see in the photos, several of the youngsters quickly got the hang of surfing!
