Thousands of families gathered on the beach and Boardwalk in downtown Myrtle Beach to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks. The highlight was a 25-minute fireworks show from the Second Avenue Pier, visible for miles up and down the beach. Crowds watched from the sand or the adjacent Boardwalk. The nighttime view was worth the trip!
