Myrtle Beach’s newest firefighters received their official badges and helmets during graduation ceremonies Friday, May 4, at the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center. The 19 new firefighters just completed a 13-week training program that includes both classroom and hands-on lessons in all sorts of situations. Family members and friends pinned the badges on the new firefighters.
