Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
ACCEPTED MATERIALS

- Co-mingled Recyclables
- Clean Wood Waste
- Scrap Metal
- Electronic Waste
- Automotive and Light Truck Tires (Limit of four off-the-rim tires per person, per day.)
A $5 minimum charge will be applied to all loads (applies to City of Myrtle Beach residents and businesses, too). Prices are subject to change. The following fees and weights apply:
- Garbage – $61 per ton
- Bulk Waste – $52 per ton
- Yard Waste – $40.50 per ton
- Clean Wood Waste – $52 per ton
- Co-mingled Recyclables – No Charge
- Automotive and Light Truck Tires – No Charge (Limit of four off-the-rim tires per person, per day.)
- Electronic Waste – No Charge
State law requires separate recycling for electronics, TVs and computers. This means TVs and computers CANNOT be placed in the garbage or curbside recycling containers. If you have a computer or TV that is ready for pick-up, contact the Solid Waste Division directly at 843-918-2160. Electronics can also be dropped off at the Jake Abraham Transfer Station, 3221 Mr. Joe White Avenue, for recycling.
