     Weather is one of the main reasons so many people choose to vacation in Myrtle Beach and along the Grand Strand.   Our climate features mild winters and warm summers, just right for enjoying the beach, playing 18 holes of golf, or visiting one of the many entertainment and shopping venues in the area. 

     Of course, living along the Atlantic Ocean means an occasional threat from a hurricane, and the City of Myrtle Beach has Hurricane Preparedness Plans in place for such an event.  For additional information about our weather, please visit one of the links at left.
