The Myrtle Beach Tennis Center is adjacent to Myrtle Beach High School and is accessible off Grissom Parkway.  It features a pro shop and 10 courts, eight of which are lighted for night play.  Call the Pro Shop at 843-918-2440.

Cardio Tennis:  This high energy class is structured for the individual who wants to hit a lot of tennis balls and get fit at the same time.  Classes are designed for all levels to participate and to become motivated in a high aerobic setting.  Classes are offered from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $7.

Quick Tennis:  This exciting program is offered to adult beginners who are looking to learn the game of tennis in a short amount of time. The program runs for three weeks where players come twice a week for one hour sessions. A new session will start on Monday May 7 and Wednesday May 23. Classes are offered at 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Monday and Wednesday. Session cost $50.

40 LUV Junior Development Pathway:  This pathway ensures that your child will have success in tennis to enjoy recreationally or competitively. The development program follows the 10-and-under USTA guidelines, with players older than 10 using yellow balls.  Classes are offered Monday - Thursday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.  Contact Brad Anderson at 918-2440 to set up a free 15 minute orientation for your child.

Adult Tennis Clinics:  Clinic times are Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:15 - 7:45 p.m.  Stroke production, strategy, and footwork will be emphasized.  Players must possess an NTRP of 2.0 or higher.  Fees are $13 Members/$16 Non-Members.  Contact Brad Anderson at 918-2440.

40 LUV Summer Tennis Camp (9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., various dates): 

The City of Myrtle Beach 40 LUV Summer Tennis Camp provides an excellent opportunity to accelerate the interest and growth of tennis for children ages five to 12 years old.  The curriculum follows USTA’s guidelines for the 10-and-under format.  Fees are $70.00 per student, with discounts for multiple children participating in two or more weeks.  For more information, contact Brad Anderson at 918-2440.  Here’s the schedule.

Men’s Night Out:  Men, take all the stress away for a fun night of drills, games and match play with the tennis professionals at the Myrtle Beach Tennis Center.  Enjoy Men’s Night Out from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on every other Wednesday.  A limited number of eight spots will be open for this event, so please call the tennis center at 918-2440 to reserve your place. Junior Play Night:  Myrtle Beach Tennis Center offers a Junior Play Night from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. on Fridays.  This gives juniors the opportunity to practice their game in match play settings with a junior ladder where they can challenge up to move higher in the ranks.  The ladder will be in-club and will provide a great experience for healthy competition.
