Our Special Operations Section, also known as "Waterfront Section" conducts foot and bike patrol throughout our Boulevard Amusement area, which includes the most visited area of our city. These officers also utilize GEM cars along Ocean Boulevard which allows them to quickly respond to emergency calls for service. Our Bike Patrol officers are required to complete a specialized bike school prior to being assigned to this unit.
