From Seagate Village to the Dunes, Myrtle Beach residents celebrated National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, with picnics, block parties, games and ice cream socials.  Crime Prevention Officer Sean Fay coordinated the activities.  The eight participating neighborhoods included Carolina Breeze, Sandygate Village, Myrtle and Maple Street, Pine Lake Estates, Bent Oak Estates, Dunes and Dunes Cove, Ramsey Acres and Seagate Village.  Staff members from the Myrtle Beach police and fire departments also took part, displaying their specialty vehicles.  One neighborhood even had a dunking booth where Officer John Fullwood and the mayor took a turn in the wet seat!  Five of the city's National Night Out gatherings are represented in the photos below.
