Three teams of firefighters met last Saturday to battle it out in Farmers' Market Stadium.  Their secret ingredient?  Ten pounds of ground beef.  The fire chefs had two hours to prepare a meal for panel of judges and the public using the secret ingredient and at least three produce items from the market vendors.  This was the city's fourth annual Firehouse Cook-Off contest at Myrtle's Market, with teams from each of the Myrtle Beach Fire Department shifts.  Shift B claimed the victory and will represent the city in a regional cook-off with other fire departments later this summer.
