Local civic clubs recently honored three Myrtle Beach staff members for their outstanding service during the past year, as the photos below attest.  The Myrtle Beach Optimist Club honored Records Supervisor Cathie Rhodes as the Support Services Officer of the Year in the Myrtle Beach Police Department.  She is pictured receiving the award in the first two photos.  Also nominated for the Support Services Officer award were Michelle Guckert, Nancy Medlin and Nina Torres.  The Myrtle Beach Rotary Club selected Police Officer First Class Robert Williams as the department's Police Officer of the Year.  Officer Williams' surprise and the award presentation are shown in the next four photos.  Also nominated as Officer of the Year were PFC Milton Adams, Cpl. Tommy Hunt, Cpl. Bryan Murphy, Sgt. Joey Crosby, Sgt. Tony Mitchell, Cpl. Lester Cook, PFC Paul Morrell, PFC Jeremiah Beam and PFC Sean Fay.  Finally, the Chicora Rotary Club selected Fire Engineer/Paramedic Matthew Lincoln as the Firefighter of the Year.  Also nominated for Firefighter of the Year were Engineer/Paramedic Dwayne Wright, Lieutenant Stephen Schuessler and and Lieutenant Albert Nord.
