The City of Myrtle Beach recognizes
Employees of the Year in the city's five major service categories, as
well as one Supervisor of the Year. For 2009, 29 employees were
nominated by their co-workers and supervisors, and three supervisors were
nominated by their staff members. The Employee Recognition
Committee then selects the winners, who were recognized by City Council
during the April 27 meeting. Pictured below are the winners,
runners-up and nominees for each of these awards.
