Twenty newly-minted firefighters from four departments received their official badges and helmets Thursday during graduation ceremonies for the city's 23rd Recruit School.  Family members and friends pinned badges on the firefighters, who just completed three months of in-class instruction and hands-on training.  Fourteen members of the class reported to the Myrtle Beach Fire Department, three reported to the Murrells Inlet/Garden City Fire Department, two reported to the Conway Fire Department and one reported to the Midway Fire Department.
