The Myrtle Beach Police Department and local human service agencies and organizations held their fifth "Help Us Help You" session at the Community Assistance Center on March 27. "Help Us Help You" is a creation of the Myrtle Beach Police Department to provide much-needed coordination of services for people who are homeless. Officers realized that people need someone to help them connect the dots, to bring together in one place and at one time the agencies, resources and contacts that exist, but are too scattered to be useful to someone who literally may be without a place to call home.
