The Pee Dee Street Rodders' "Run to the Sun" Car and Truck Show returned to Myrtle Beach proper this year for the first time in about two decades.  The show, featuring more than a thousand vehicles, filled the former Myrtle Square Mall site between Oak Street and Kings Highway, Thursday through Saturday.  Admission is free, and so is admiring the vehicles and the effort that went into restoring and preserving them.  For parking, your best option is to park at Broadway at the Beach and take one of the free shuttle buses to the show site.  The city co-sponsored this year's event.
