Three recently-elected City Council members and the mayor took the oath of office Tuesday, January 12, at the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center. The 1:00 p.m. ceremony was held prior to the first Council meeting of the New Year. Pictured taking the oath are Councilmen Wayne Gray, Mike Lowder and Randal Wallace and Mayor John Rhodes. Mayor Rhodes recognized outgoing Council member Chuck Martino for his 12 years of service. Council then cut a cake, and everyone enjoyed refreshments prior to the regular meeting at 2:00 p.m.
