Three civic clubs recently recognized outstanding members of the Myrtle Beach Police and Fire Departments with annual awards.  As shown in the photos below, the Myrtle Beach Rotary Club honored Police Corporal Mike Guthinger as Police Officer of the Year, the Grand Strand Optimist Club honored Police Department Administrative Assistant Michele Guckert as Support Services Employee of the Year, and the Chicora Rotary Club honored Firefighter Richard Palmer as Firefighter of the Year.  Congratulations to all who were nominated for these outstanding awards.
