Myrtle Beach Sandbag exchange

Sandbag Exchange...  We in Myrtle Beach are thankful that Hurricane Florence spared us, but are well aware of the damage elsewhere, including the expected flooding to come in Conway and parts of western Horry County.  If you have sandbags that you don’t need, take them to the vacant lot just south of the Myrtle Beach City Services Building at 921 North Oak Street.  That way, someone else can come pick up the sandbags and reuse them.  (The drop off location is the same as where we provided free sand last week.  NOTE:  We do not have any more sand available!  And taking sand from the beach is illegal!)  Credit for this sandbag exchange idea goes to local businessman Larry Bond.
