Planning a trip to Myrtle Beach? Then visit the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce for information about hotels, attractions, restaurants, events and more! The chamber will be happy to send a free vacation guide.

Pets on the beach? From May 1 through Labor Day, dogs are allowed on the beach only before 10:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m. On the boardwalk from May 1 through Labor Day, dogs are allowed only in the mornings, from 5:00 to 10:00 a.m. At all times when dogs are allowed in public, they must be on a leash of seven feet or shorter, and you must pick up and properly dispose of your pet's droppings.

Did you know... That the Police and Fire Departments have staff members who are certified to install infant and child safety car seats? This is a free service. Just stop by the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center to inquire. Or, you may call the Police Department at 843-918-1382 or the Fire Department at 918-1192.
