Attention employers and
non-profits! Do
you need more employees or volunteers? Then you’ll want to
participate in our fifth annual Job and Volunteer Assistance Fair from
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, at the Myrtle Beach
Convention Center. Just fill out this
application (PDF) and mail or
fax it to the address or number provided.
Many senior citizens in the Myrtle Beach area want to contribute their time and talent, but don’t know what opportunities are available or which organizations to contact. The Senior Job and Volunteer Assistance Fair helps match seniors with companies and non-profit groups that need assistance, whether full-time, part-time or volunteer. Last year, more than 50 employers and agencies took part in this free event. Only businesses offering traditional employment opportunities and charitable organizations seeking volunteers are invited to participate. No items may be sold at the event. Covered and skirted tables are provided at no charge. Call 843-918-1014 for more information. Helium balloons and outside food and beverages are not permitted in the Convention Center. The Senior Job and Volunteer Assistance Fair is co-sponsored by the City of Myrtle Beach Senior Citizens Advisory Committee and the Coastal Workforce Center. Neither the city nor Coastal Workforce makes any claims about the qualifications of the businesses, agencies and organizations participating or the prospective candidates for paid or volunteer positions.
