Myrtle Beach's first fire truck was this 1936 Ford, shown here in front of the Chapin Company Building on Main Street.  Today, the department has a Class 1 ISO rating.

Corner Icon The Fire Museum...  Fire Station No. 6 on 38th Avenue North has a museum of fire equipment and memorabilia.  The display includes helmets, gear, clothing and photos from the department's early days.

Blue Box  Community meeting rooms are available at Fire Stations No. 5 and No. 6.  Call 843-918-1192 to reserve one of these rooms for your civic or neighborhood groups.

The Myrtle Beach Fire Department offers the following ordinances, regulations and inspection reports for the safety and protection of your home or office.  For additional information or assistance with any of these documents, contact the Fire Marshal's Office at 843-918-1109.
