The Finance Department is responsible for administering the citys financial operations. The department is divided into several groups, including Accounting and Financial Reporting, Purchasing and Inventory Management, Commercial Licenses and Fees, Information Services, and Utility Billing and Collections. The City of Myrtle Beach provides a number of on-line services and forms. Customers may pay their utility bills on line, file a request for service, and even pay a parking meter violation via the Internet. You also may call 918-1212 to pay utility bills with either Visa or MasterCard, or you may have your payment drafted directly from your checking account. Call 918-1212 for details. The city's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is available for the year ended June 30, 2007. The CAFR is provided as a PDF file, which is rather large. Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, it may take a while for the file to open. Here is the previous fiscal year's CAFR. Maria Baisden is the Finance Director. For assistance, dial (843) 918-1152. Note: Acrobat Reader, available free, is needed for PDF files. © Copyright 2004, The City of Myrtle Beach. All rights reserved. |
